Jolly Jamboree – Saturday, December 9, 2023
A Christmas gift to the entire community, we would like to invite everyone to the 1st Annual Jolly Jamboree on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM at the Taos Youth & Family Center. Admission is free to the Jolly Jamboree!
The Skating Club of Taos Learn to Skate Program will be doing a Holiday Exhibition on the ice from 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM. Danza Azteca de Anahuac will perform from 1:30 PM – 2:00 PM, and Los Ninos Bailadores will perform from 2:15 PM – 3:00 PM in the lobby.
The main attraction will be Tropical Santa visiting the swimming pool. That’s right, you will see an original, different twist on the traditional Santa and the only Tropical Santa in Taos. Tropical Santa will hand out 600 treat filled stockings to all good boys and girls! Special guests will be Clifford the Big Red Dog, Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer, Stitch, the Grinch, and Kevin the Minion.
There will be ice skating from 1:15 PM – 5:00 PM. The entry fee for children and seniors is $2.00, and adult admission entry is $3.00. Complimentary hot chocolate and cookies will be served.
We are excited to introduce the Taos Youth & Family Center Fitness Room for ages 16 and up. This cutting-edge fitness room is dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve their fitness goals. Come enjoy our new fully equipped fitness room! The ribbon cutting ceremony will be at 12:00 PM.
As usual, you can play arcade games, ping pong, or pool. This event is sponsored by the LOR Foundation, Taos Optimist Club, Taos Skating Club of Taos, and the Town of Taos.
